Some time in the past I discussed the efforts Google’s making to protect its users’ data. Google even gave us a Street View look inside a data center.

Today, Google’s going even further in its discussions, and showing off some security features inside a data center.

I’m really satisfied with the quality of service I receive as a Google Apps for Work user. I’m confident that Google is working harder than I ever would to protect my data and keep my services at 100% operation.

The Sony Entertainment hack caused me to reevaluate the importance of data protection, and more importantly, finding a provider to keep that information protected better than I can.

Once again, this is a good time to ask yourself the tough question about how well you’re protecting your client’s information.

I wish they would have talked about alternative energy use and things like bloom boxes

I agree, but I think there aren’t a lot of folks who care about that issue. Many folks are more interested in the security side of Google’s operations. And this is as much a marketing video as it is informational.
