EnerPlex, the guys distributing some awesome power accessories, are offering a new giveaway on the site. Once again they sent me a Jumpr Stack 3 power bank.

Jumpr Stack 3

EnerPlex modified this model so it’s compatible with iOS devices using the new lightning adapter, but the concept and functionality are the same.

I love these little power banks because they’re ultra compact and portable. Plus, with 3200 mAh in this Jumpr Stack 3, there aren’t a lot of devices you can’t charge. I have one in my backpack when I travel, and Mrs. The Droid Lawyer keeps a smaller one in her purse while she’s on the go.

EnerPlex’s Jumpr Stack 3 also connects in series with other Stack charges, which gives you maximum recharging capabilities.

At $54.99, the Jumpr Stack 3 isn’t cheap, but it’s probably the last charger you’ll have to buy.

So, if you’d like your own Jumpr Stack 3 power bank then leave a comment letting me know how your current charger stacks up against your daily use.

One winner will be chosen at random after the entry period closes on November 5, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. CST. You must be a resident of the United States, and you must follow all of the other official rules (trust me, I’m a stickler).

Current chargers, what current charger?

Scott · October 30, 2014 at 11:57 am

I currently use on the standard wall charge that came with my S5 after switching from Apple. I’d like to try this one out and see how it does. I’ve heard good things about it.

I used to be able to get away without a charger, but I’m finding I need one now as my fiancee and I started a business and I run a lot of it off of my phone.

Definitely won’t be the last charger I buy (or win, if possible). I seem to have a hoarder’s addiction for these. I already travel with a 10,000 mAh 2-USB battery that can charge both my phone and my tablet (and came in handy during a four day brown-out this past summer). I also have a wallet-thin battery and a few 2400-3600 ones, not to mention two Powerbags each with 8400 mAh batteries.

Truth is, I remind myself of the guy who showed up at my bar exam (in 1980) with three typewriters: an IBM Selectric; another electric, and a Royal manual. While I slogged through the essays on my trusty Coronomatic, he ended up on the manual by the end of the day.

A couple of inconvenient situations lately have reminded me that I need more mobile solutions such as this. Unless I win this one from The Droid Lawyer and EnerPlex, I am going to have to add something like this to my Christmas list.

I have 2 mobile chargers but don’t use them regularly (only when traveling long distance). They work fine for phones, but not tablets.

When I dropped my keys in the garage, the charger on the key chain broke, and one of the pieces disappeared–in my “pristine” garage–how is that possible??!!

I charge at night, in the car, and have one at my desk. Still run low on a normal day. A portable charger would help tremendously.

CJ Stevens · October 31, 2014 at 12:12 pm

My phone’s original chargers require a car or a long plug-in period. Where I live, we still get occasional power outages from high winds, ice on lines, etc., so all our phones would eventually die. We’d park them next to the oil lamps we keep ready to light, our way of pillory-and-stocks shaming of arrogant tech. This gizmo would save their fragile egos but make them even more arrogant. Would I be doing them a disservice with this crutch?

Wall charger at home, car charger, and recently received a mobile charger that’s rather heavy but helps in a pinch…I have a feeling the EnerPlex Jumpr Stack 3 Stackable Power Bank would do a much better job.

Aside from the wall and car chargers, the only current charger I have is a laptop. Plenty of battery life, but not very pocketable.
