Google Now has a new update to allow you to track where you parked your vehicle.

Google Now Parking

The parking location card appears after Google Now “realizes” that you left a vehicle. Google says because of your device’s sensors, you could see the parking cards even though you didn’t drive a car — bike, bus, or even someone else’s car.

You can adjust the settings to modify when the parking card appears.

Cool. This would really be helpful if it could distinguish between floors in a garage. I invariably forget on which floor I parked when I am schlepping a large box home, or running late.

Don’t get your hopes too high, it’s not that good right now. I parked at home and Google told me the car was 4 streets over.

If you were here in Mobile Jeff, it might mean one of my clients now has your car. 🙂

I love this! I couldn’t count how many times I have forgot where I parked my car in a WalMart parking lot.. much less parking garages!
