A suburb of Oklahoma City took a devastating hit from what looks like an EF5 tornado. News footage from the scene shows horrific damage, reports of multiple injuries, and several deaths.

The tornado spent 40 minutes on the ground. The National Weather Service posted a comparison photo to it’s Twitter page comparing the May 3, 1999 tornado with this one.

Many people will need help, both financially and emotionally, after this tornado. I’m asking you to help the rescue and revival efforts. Please donate to the American Red Cross. You can text REDCROSS to 90999 or visit the American Red Cross’s website.
