The patent lawsuit between Apple and Motorola got dismissed with prejudice today by a judge in Madison, Wisconsin.

Google issued the following statement:

Motorola has long offered licensing to our extensive patent portfolio at a reasonable and non-discriminatory rate in line with industry standards . . . . We remain interested in reaching an agreement with Apple.

Ouch. That’s two blows for Apple after its highly successful Samsung victory.
