1. Business Calendar ($4.99)
Google featured this sweet app in its end-of-summer blowout sale for $0.99. If you missed it, $4.99 is still a good price to pay for a comprehensive calendaring program.
2. Sketchbook Mobile ($1.99)
Although this app works best on high-quality devices with excellent capacitive touch capabilities, you’re going to enjoy being able to draw, diagram, or doodle with Sketchbook. I can’t tell you the number of time this app kept my kids occupied. For such a powerful drawing program, it’s a steal at $1.99.
3. CamCard – Business Card Reader ($4.99)
Personally, I prefer Bump (free), which allows you to transfer contact information with a “bump” of your device. Sometimes though, I’m given a business card. This is a great way to scan and share the information.
4. Adobe Photoshop Touch ($9.99)
You know what Photoshop for your desktop can do. This app does the same thing for your tablet. Again, high-quality capacitive touch is a must to have any good experience, but otherwise you’re ready. I can imagine myself doing this with this app.
5. Fieldrunners HD ($2.99)
There aren’t a lot of games that can keep me coming back, but Fieldrunners HD is one of them. Perhaps it’s the guns. Perhaps it’s the animated blood splatter. Watching one of the little attackers get fried by a flame cannon is always a good giggle. The game is challenging enough to keep you occupied for hours.
