This post from Engadget confirms why I love Verizon.

Apparently, Verizon will begin offering (who knows when) shared data packages, much like shared minutes on your mobile phone. For me (although they’ll probably restrict it) that means I can share my unlimited data package with anyone on my calling plan. That means I could use a data package on my smartphone, my tablet, my wife’s phone, my kids, and so forth. There’s a multitude of new Verizon customers for a simple engagement fee and a few well-priced data packages.

What does this mean for AT&T?
