By now, you've seen the commercial for the new Motorola Xoom. In case you haven't, here's the teaser that aired during the Super Bowl:

The problem is, now we're starting to find out that this may not be the iPad/Apple killer that perhaps Motorola hoped.

Many people are upset because of the rumored launch price of $799, it's my guess that only the die hards will spring for that kind of luxury item. There's also a rumor that in order to unlock the WiFi, you'll need to commit to a one-month contract with Verizon.

Is the Xoom really worth $799.99? Probably. It has a larger screen, more memory, and a faster processor, than Apple's iPad. But, it's still a tablet.

It's my opinion right now, if I'm going to thrash down $800, I'm going to buy a full-fledged tablet PC, which could run my programs, like Office and my law practice management software.

What's your thought?
